3 little kittens lost their mittens

Here's the mittens I did. They're made with a DK wool. I got the pattern for free from my LYS. The mittens are the same for the left and right hand.

Secret
I quit smoking 2 days before my b-day. I've been ashamed of this habit for years and I've quit a ton of times. This time I quit cold turkey instead of using Zyban. I'm feeling good about it. Like I'm not a smoker anymore. Last night my MIL & I went to this hypnosis thing for weightloss & quiting smoking. The guy did both together. One of the things he stressed was thinking of yourself as a non-smoker, not an ex-smoker. So that's what I'm going to do. Besides, I don't want my new house to smell like smoke and all my yarn stash :)

Edited to add...
The mittens are a present to myself for quitting. I never wore mittens, always gloves because I could smoke with them on. And boy did they stink!

Well done ! ;-]
They say it takes 14 days to make or break a habit ! [ ''They'' say lots of things ].
I quit *cold turkey* 20 years ago ! I smoed between 40 and 60 a day,mostly roll-ups ... I was an Art student !
One day you'll suddenly realise that you don't want to smoke ,and then you'll get to hate the smell. I sucked my way through a lot of boiled sweets & mints.

I am so happy that you're going to join us non-smokers! Not that I didn't ever smoke... but that's what the hypnotist said to call it LOL. I quit cold turkey about 4 yrs ago and there will be times of weakness but the longer you go, the easier it will get. It's such a healthy decision though... I wish you the best!
