Look! Krista likes Bells Beer. Bell's is why I started brewing in the first place. Man, that stuff is good.
I'm making lotion bars today. See how it's done here.
I've updated my knitting and soap pages as well.

There's not really a whole lot of stuff like them on the mainstream consumer market. Does that make them easier or more difficult to sell? I really have been putting off soapmaking for other stuff like gardening, knitting, and fun outdoorsy stuff. Maybe on a rainy day weekend I can put together some of my "Soap batches in mind".

What kind of beers have you been brewing up? That's so awesome!
Maybe I should order a lotion bar too. So, it's just lotion in a stick form? Seems like it would be a much easier way to spread it on. Cool!
Since I hardly sell anything, I can't tell if it's easier or harder. Mostly people have gone for the soap. It seems like the people that were buying more than $15 worth of stuff were more likely to buy a lotion bar. I tell people it's great for rough, dry feet and this time of the year that gets some interest going.
I actually haven't brewed since Christmas, but I mostly go for English style ales.
Lotion bars are like a big lip balm, but for
your body. There is no water in them, so sometimes it's nice to apply it
toan area and add a few drops of water and rub it. But it works both ways.
The oils should soak in within a few minutes.
