Seam Class and Soap Conference

The knitting class I went to was called Sew a Fine Seam and we learned how to do:

  • Three-Needle Bind Off

  • I-Cord 3 Needle Bind Off

  • Weaving (two pieces vertically)

  • Mattress Stitch

  • Seaming a garter stitch

  • Joining a sleeve to the body

Unfortunately, the swatches didn't make anything, they were just used for demonstration

Today we're going to the Michigan Soapers Conference. Should be fun except for the two hour drive to Saginaw.

I can't tell from the photo how big the swatches were, but you could use your new-found skills to turn them in to a cushion cover or a bag or something else small. ?? :)

My graphics board owner is another soaper. What a luxury to have your own handmade soap! Lush. Going to check out your soap pages now. :D
