Since people were already linked to my home page and it seemed like there was no way for me to easily change my site in the Knitting Blogger's web ring, I moved my blog. I don't know if I mentioned the software I'm using, Moveable Type, but it is just so cool! After I got everything set up, it was just few clicks and the site was moved. That is just so cool. All the problems I had setting it up were completely due to my server configuration and lack of unix skill. Moveable Type ROCKS.
Posted by tonya at March 28, 2002 04:21 PMLike a child with a crayon in hand, I couldn't resist the blank slate! Congrats on your conversion to MT as it seems to have gone smoothly. I was considering using them for a while but I never got a response from them on a pretty basic question, so I'm still updating manually.
I think it's super awesome that you soap too. I have a random question though. Do you use the same standard recipe for all batches and change only the EO's/FOs or do you have a different recipe for each soap?
I am trying to "build" my product line and I can't decide if I actually want to make a standard recipe and just change the odds and ends (oatmeal, added herbs, EOs FOs, colorings etc) or unique recipes for each. BTW -- did you see the cool stuff my hubby made/got for me to aid in soapmaking?

aren't DHs great sometimes! hehe
At First I thought I would have lots of different recipies for different skin condidtions. I quickly realized that it would be difficult to keep up with all the recipies and pricing would be difficult. I do add different eos/fos and herbs or clays based on what I want the soap to be like.
Posted by: tonya on March 29, 2002 07:32 AMI love your soap cutter! I need a better one. Mine allows the soap to move while I'm slicing.
